Redesign and possible move

Currently I am experiencing some difficulty with hosting and someone I share it with. While that is being resolved it made me realize that I need a backup plan in case of something like this. I also need to purchase space as well, so I am thinking of a name and what it can be used for. Until then I will make the best of things. I have been quite busy over the last few months. I have some work that will be featured in Japan!!! Once this issue is resolved I will post here or just place links.

My latest illustration project.  Collaborating with Oneofus (Sinitus Tempo & Kitty Wong) Greatest musical combination I have heard in a long long time.  Finally something that is positive to the soul.  This style I just developed and hope to do more of in the future on a larger scale.  Enjoy! Just discovered my screen setting was terribly bright, thus my illustrations are much darker than I thought.

Lack of interaction.

Currently I am working with The Regiment with their website, ablum art and other art related things.  It is truly a blessing that they found my work online and added me to the team.  I have been rather busy with projects (check out the site) which explains my absence here on the blog.  I am thinking about tumblr as well.  I've had an account for a year or so and never did anything with it.  I am happy that a lot of illustration projects are coming in with the graphic design stuff.  It sucks not working directly what you went to school for but I love everything that deals with art.  

I have decided that it is time for my comics to be released.  Not sure where or how I will post these.  I may have to make another button for my portfolio page.  I am thinking about posting them here and on tumblr. I have my stories already but I need to fine tune... Until then I will just try to post random musings here.

Zombie Project and RF3RD 1.5

:D Yay! Site has an updated look.  I still have connection problems and thanks to a certain storm I had power problems. x_x 'sigh' Zombie project is looking great, however, the file size is friggin 600MB!!!! (I want to print it large so I needed high res.) The only thing left is to add color.  So merging of layers will be done to cut down on the size.  I really enjoyed working with this old pencil drawing.  It was long over due.

Check out the latest patch to RF3RD.com!! Meanwhile, I will have the zombie project completed within the next day or so!

I feel like I am working on a major video game project with all the patches I am applying to my site.  Heheh.  Zombie Project is still in production and RF3RD.com is receiving some updates.

Due to some issues with my connection for the last 2.5 weeks I haven't been able to upload files for music, photography, and aerosol art.  There has been a lot traditional illustrations that I have been working on that I will post up here or possibly on the site.  I haven't decided yet...

Once I get all these interviews, meetings and personal works out of the way I will be back on the digital works. Bye for now!

Well, it has been quite a while since I updated.  I just added a few images to the portfolio on the main site.  I am a bit on the tired side as I have been busy with freelance projects and trying to move.  I have a lot of photography and music I need to edit and put up on display.  I apologize to everyone who have been waiting so patiently.  There are so many things that need to be done that I get scattered and thinned out.  Hopefully I should have things done soon.  Random projects do pop up, so please be patient just a bit longer. :) Thanks!

My observation.

It has come to my attention that a lot of my illustration pieces remain in my sketchbook and drawing pads.  I do apologize to everyone for the lame illustration section on my site.  I believe that over the course of me being where I live I have lost the fire that I once had to illustrate.  I feel more so inclined to "paint" my illustrations with a looser style as opposed to the tight drawings.  Could this be a sign of laziness because of my environment? I think yes.  Without my creative group of friends around me, my inspiration has really fallen.  My imagination remains, but it is capped by some sort of lid that needs certain emotions to twist off the lid.  If I am going to fight this obstacle I will need my army of friends to back me up.  Searching the web for inspiration runs dry because there isn't a feeling of connection. I think it is due to me sitting in my chair in my room.  I think another trip to the DIA is necessary.

I need to change the color of my blog to a more cooler gray. This warm gray was my original choice but I deviated from that.

I need to set up my account on Soundcloud and also link my deviantart and pixiv pages to my site. Just small things but I am glad the big parts are done!!

Last Week

Finally, the last week of waiting. My portfolio page will be in construction. I have a lot of files to find and resize. So, the pages in progress will lead back to here or maybe just directly to the portfolio.

Tech support responds to my plea of help with an email that has a lot of text making the task seem impossible for an non scripter such as myself, only to say they can do it for a fee. At this point I have decided to go with plan B. Temporarily I will use the same gallery that is here until I redo all these XML files. Too bad they don't use the same coding. -sigh-

In other news...for about a month I have adopted an imaginary cat, Kitakun. He is gray and white with a red scarf. If you see him...just hand him a cookie or he will follow you and take your markers. I cannot reveal where he learned such a skill...ehem... Just hand over your cookies. No raisins!

Ah, the joys of tech support.

Tech support is on the scene and really helping me out with my scripting issue. Apparently I have to modify the script in more than one area. I had a small fear that I would have to abandon my gallery and go for something else. Learning something new in this field is like training with a new character for a fighting game. Every character has a different way they win a match; from zoning, rush downs, to turtling. You have to deal with different frame rates, combos, counter picks, etc. The process can be frustrating at first, but as you practice more, it becomes easier.

So, Technical Support finally got back to me about my gallery issue. (Thanks for holding me up!) From the sound of things, I may have to scrap my gallery idea. As soon as I post this site up I will be working on an HTML one. This issue with flash is a pain. I have to jump through too many hoops to get certain things to work. It's very frustrating and just ruins the mood of things.

So, temporarily I will have to link my portfolio section to the portfolio here. I hear that trying to put simple viewer within my program is another hassle. I wont give up, but I am tired. What happened to good old Geocities? Hahahaha!

About time!

Hello fellow viewers.

The time has come where I am in the final stages of completion. I just have to proof read, and make sure everything is smooth. At the same time I have some freelance and personal projects to finish. Launch Wednesday?!

It is a wonderful feeling to finally complete my site.

So, keep a look out for the final product.

Redirecting my domain name here. Bloody site is giving me a little trouble, but all should be fixed in the next coming weeks. I will finish before my bday, however, I may just launch it on my bday or new years =D.
